Story Pink Floyd

Du psychédélisme expérimental à la musique planante, leurs albums-concept des années ’70 seront les précurseurs du rock progressif. David Gilmour rejoint le groupe en janvier 1968, afin d'épauler sur scène Syd Barrett, dont le comportement devient de plus en plus erratique. En avril 1968, il le remplace définitivement. En 1973, Pink Floyd acquiert une célébrité mondiale avec The Dark Side of the Moon... Roger Waters quitte le groupe en 1985.  En 1987, David Gilmour, Nick Mason et Richard Wright décident de continuer sous la bannière Pink Floyd.  En septembre 2008, 2 ans après la mort de Syd Barrett, un autre membre fondateur, le claviériste Richard Wright est emporté par un cancer, à 65 ans.

Cette sélection retrace l’évolution du groupe de 1967 à 1995, déclinée en 22 atmosphères musicales...  Le choix est délibérément subjectif.
